Mandate and Roles Document
The Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act (APAGA) was proclaimed into force on June 12, 2013. The Act requires that public agencies have a Mandate and Roles Document (MRD) outlining the roles of both the agency and the Minister responsible for the agency.
At its meeting on September 17, 2013, the Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) Board of Directors reviewed the final Mandate and Roles Document for APS and passed a resolution approving the document.
The President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance reviewed and signed the final document on October 28, 2013.
