APS Websites Win Award of Merit

On June 2, 2011, the local chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) held their annual awards gala to showcase the "best of the best" communications projects and people. It is an evening to celebrate and recognize the outstanding creative campaigns and communications throughout the year.

This year, the APS Website Redesign Project won a merit award in the category of Communications Skills and Tactics - On-going Tactics for the tremendous work done in redesigning four pension plan websites. This category recognizes the tremendous amount of work done in the planning process, and follows the plan from inception to project completion. Most people only get to see the final product, but industry insiders want to know how the product moved from idea to implementation and everything that goes into a successful launch.

"My thanks for all of the work done. I'm very proud to be part of the APS team, and the websites are a great example of the excellent work and the products and services we provide to, and on behalf of, pension plans," said Monica Norminton, APS President and CEO.

APS is committed to continually improving the products and services we deliver to clients. APS maintains four major pension plans: Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP), Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP), Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP), and Special Forces Pension Plan (SFPP).
