CEO Appointed As Queen's Counsel
March 9, 2010 - Alberta Pensions Services Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer, Monica Norminton, is among 105 Alberta lawyers appointed earlier this year to Queen's Counsel. The honorary title recognizes members of the Alberta bar for their contributions to the legal profession and their communities.
Monica earned her law degree from the University of Alberta. She is a Chartered Accountant, has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alberta and Masters certificate in Project Management.
She serves as a mentor in the MBA mentorship program at the U of A and is a member of the City of Edmonton's audit committee. Monica was honoured in 2008 as one of 100 dynamic women at WXN's Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100.
