Making the Pension Experience Easier - New MEPP Website

Life is complicated, but your pension plan shouldn't be.

Edmonton, March 18, 2011 - Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) is pleased to announce the launch of the new Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP) website.

MEPP has served managers within the Alberta provincial public service, approved agencies, boards, and commissions since 1972. The new MEPP website is designed to promote the value of the Plan and web services, and improve client satisfaction.

"The pension plan is a significant part of a member's overall retirement savings and an important recruitment and retention tool for employers," comments Director of Communications, Tracy Balash. "It is our goal to provide MEPP clients with a more engaging online experience. We want them to find the information they need quickly and easily."

MEPP members, employers and pensioners can use the new website as a main source of pension information.

New features include:

  • Enhanced web services
  • Access to personalized pension information
  • Advanced search function

While the domain name ( has not changed with the redesign, individual page names have changed and bookmarks will need to be updated. Please note it may take time before results from the new website's search function accurately display the website's new content.

APS is committed to continually improving on the products and services we deliver to clients. APS manages the maintenance of the Management Employees Pension Plan website, along with the websites of three other major pension plans. A new website for the Special Forces Pension Plan is also under development.
