Enhancements to mypensionplan Website
Edmonton, March 17, 2011 - Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) is offering online registration options for clients nearing retirement - making the pension experience even easier.
Plan members can now register online for one-on-one information sessions using mypensionplan—the secure online service used by active and deferred members of the Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP), Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP), Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP) and Special Forces Pension Plan (SFPP).
"APS is responding to desire for more online services and an increase in the number of members reaching retirement age," says David Lawrence, Director of the Member Services Centre. "Members can access mypensionplan at their convenience."mypensionplan allows members to access their personal pension information when they need it. Sign up and access calculators to estimate future pension benefits, change your address information and update your beneficiary information. Members can also help the environment and sign up to go green. By going green members receive an e-mail confirmation when their member annual statement is available on mypensionplan and will not receive a paper statement in the mail.
