The Supplementary Retirement Plan for Public Service Managers (SRP) was established on July 1, 1999. The Plan provides additional pension benefits to public service managers of designated employers who participate in the Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP) and whose annual salary exceeds the salary cap derived from the Defined Benefit Limit set under the federal Income Tax Act.
For annual report information on the SRP, see the "SRP Plan Information" page of the MEPP website.
The SRP is administered by Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS).
