Mandate and Roles
The Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act (APAGA) was proclaimed into force on June 12, 2013. The Act requires that public agencies have a Mandate and Roles Document (MRD) outlining the roles of both the agency and the Minister responsible for the agency.
APS is situated in the heart of Treaty Six territory. We respect the histories, languages and cultures of First Nations, Metis, Inuit and all First Peoples throughout Alberta and across Canada, whose presence continues to enrich our community.
